11.00am & 11.30am – Mini Guided Tour of Samuel Pepys House
12.00pm – Myal & Peg
Enjoy an immersive performance by Myal & Peg, a UK-based duo of living historians and travelling musicians who bring history to life through music, storytelling and authentic historical instruments. Performing on handcrafted medieval bagpipes, the Anglo-Saxon lyre and traditional drums, their lively performances recreate the atmosphere of everyday life from the 13th to the 17th centuries.
12.45pm – 1.30pm – Relax & Explore
Bring a picnic and enjoy lunch in the peaceful gardens of Samuel Pepys House. You're also welcome to:
Sketch or paint the beautiful surroundings
Read beneath the trees, it would be the perfect place to read Pepys’ diaries.
Enjoy traditional lawn games
Simply relax and soak up the atmosphere
